Rites Held for Floyd E. Porter

Services for Floyd E. Porter, 68, of 3008 Woodland ave., were held last Thursday at Dunn’s Funeral Home with burial at Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roy E. Pallas, Ray M. Brown, Charles H. Cutforth, W. C. Parrisch, Harold C. Bjork and A. R. McGlothen, all of Des Moines.

Those from out of town attending the funeral included: Sam Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Fon Porter, Mrs. A. W. Porter, Fletcher Porter and Mrs. Brady Phillips, all of Truro; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Phillips of Winterset, Mrs. Truman Johnston of St. Charles, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Parker of Carson, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Parker of Elkhorn, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Jensen and Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Jensen, all of Marshalltown.
