NEAL S. LOOMIS

Neal S. Loomis, 75, of 2590 S. E. 60th Ave. died of cancer Thursday at home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Brethren in Prairie City, with burial in Griffis Cemetery there.

Mr. Loomis was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired in 1970 from John Deere where he was a machinist, and he was a member of the Church of the Brethern.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline; three sons, Terry of Harrogate, England, and Miles and Dwight, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Deborah Little of Marshalltown; three brothers, Freal of Unionville, Mo., Carl of Matherville, Ill., and Homer of Lorimor; a sister, Elnora Thurman of Winterset; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Grandview Funeral Home.
