ELDON—Former Eldon resident Laura Gladys Allen, 88, of Sunnyslope Care Center died at 11:45 a.m. July 22, 1984, at Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born April 10, 1896, in Madison County to Obadiah and Etta Hughes Allen. She taught in Eldon schools for many years.
Survivors include one niece and two grand-nieces.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eldon Cemetery.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
