Charles “C.B.” Clark, 92, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at Kavanagh House Hospice in Des Moines. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 5 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial at Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m.

C.B. farmed and raised hogs in De Soto and Dexter for many years and retired in 1988, when C. B. and Josephine moved to Adel. He was the caregiver until she passed away. C. B. enjoyed going to social functions and congregate meals with his many friends.

Those left to cherish C.B.’s life include his two sons, Charles E. (Cathy) of Perry and Rodney (Susan) of Adel; two step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; one sister; and one brother; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Home Care Services Inc. or Hospice of Central Iowa.
