LEON, IA. – Olin Rippey, 88, of Leon, retired owner of United Food Market and a former mayor and soil conservation commissioner, died of pneumonia Tuesday at a Leon hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Loving Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Robert of Leon; two sisters, Grayce Woolery of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Faith Boyd of Lees Summit, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
