Charles Weeks Dies In Manhattan Hospital

Charles G. Weeks, 84, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He had been a resident of Manhattan and vicinity for the past 20 years, living with his son, William Weeks, Route 3, Manhattan.

Mr. Weeks was born April 13, 1864, in Madison county, Ia. He was a retired railroad employe. In addition to his son, Mr. Weeks is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Padgett, 608 Yuma, and Mrs. Joseph Miller, Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Steele, of California; and Mrs. Edith Vaughn, Winterset, Ia.; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. H. B. Hotchkiss at the Conroy chapel. Burial was in Sunset cemetery.
