Roy Crow, 78, Of Afton, Dies

AFTON—Roy V. Crow, 78, of Afton, died at 6 p. m. Thursday at the Madison county hospital in Winterset where he had been a patient for the past five days. He had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the William Coen funeral home in Afton with Rev. Ivan L. Hoffman, pastor of the Afton Bible church, officiating and burial in Graceland cemetery at Creston.

Born at Webster, Iowa, he lived in the Winterset and the Dodge township area in Union county before moving to Afton in 1944.

Surviving are his wife, Lula; one son, Nels of Tingley, and a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Virginia) Dorst of Oklahoma City, Okla. Two grandchildren also survive.
