Jennie “Maxine” Cisna, 87, of the Skilled Nursing Facility of Des Moines General Hospital, 603 E. 12th St., died of complications of a stroke there Sunday. Services will be a 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Born in Winterset, Mrs. Cisna lived in Des Moines most of her life and spent the last five years at the nursing facility. She retired from the city of Des Moines’ bailiff office and was a member of Des Moines General Hospital Guild.

Surviving are two sons, John of Lake Winnebago, Mo., an Robert of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Judy Raymond of Des Moines; a sister, Inice Luna of Heber Springs, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Skilled Nursing Facility of Des Moines General Hospital.
