Riley Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Anthony Weikert, 68, who died Wednesday at 4:55 p.m. in Muscatine General Hospital following a lingering illness.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mathias church. Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home and visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m.

Burial for Mrs. Weikert, 1403 Grand Ave., will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 1, 1903, in Bevington, the daughter of Charles and Minnie Scribner Bruce. The former Eleanor M. Bruce married Anthony Weikert June 23, 1920 in Adel. She has been a Muscatine resident since 1936, formerly living in Atlantic, la. Mrs. Weikert was a member of St. Mathias church, Altar and Rosary Society, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Anthony; two sons, Leo A., Denver, la., and Edward, Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. William (Mary) Kincaid, Muscatine and Mrs. Wallace (Virginia) Theunick, Lake Orion, Mich.; a twin brother, Eldon Bruce, Des Moines; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
