Norwalk, IowaVelma Bradford of Norwalk, Iowa, was born on July 7, 1930 and passed away peacefully Saturday evening, April 2, 2016, at Regency Care Center. She lived 85 years.
Velma is survived by five children, Jerry Chapman, Bill (Gaylynn) Chapman, Ed (JoAnn) Chapman, Randy Chapman (deceased), Don (Sally) Chapman, Wilbur Chapman; 16 grandchildren; and a sister, Faye, whom she loved to fish with. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Chapman; and a granddaughter.
She lived many years in California and worked and retired from Campbell’s corporation in Bakersfield, CA. She moved back to Iowa in 1983 and worked for Sheraton Hotels.
