Funeral will be held from the late residence Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock.

William P. Shannon of First Iowa Cavalry Dies at His Home on High Street.
The funeral of William P. Shannon of 2701 High street was held from the residence yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock under the auspices of the Crocker Post.
Mr. Shannon’s record as an army man is unusually good. He was a member of the First Iowa cavalry, having served with his troop all through the civil war.
