Funeral Services for Donna Lutz, 74, of Urbandale will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Eternity Church, 2000 N.W. 100th St. Clive, IA. Burial will be in Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Eternity Church.

Donna Lee Lutz was born on November 11, 1943 in Knoxville, IA to John and Viola E. (Houser) McKowen. Donna was united in marriage to Ronald James Lutz on October 10, 1972 in St. Charles, IA. She was a Tax Consultant and Enrolled Agent for H&R Block in the Des Moines area for over 25 years before her retirement. Donna passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Karen Acres after a lengthy bout with Alzheimers.

Survivors include her son Jon (Jenny) Lutz of Clive, IA; two grandchildren Jackson Lutz and Mary Lutz; two sisters Mary Ann (Chris) Chapler of Ontario, Canada and Jeannie Visser of Harvey, IA; brother in law Daryl (Clara) Lutz of Lone Tree, IA; sister in law Joyce (Steve) Murdock of Perry, IA; a special niece Michelle (Joe) Corbin and other nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding Donna in death were her parents, husband on November 8, 2015, brother Jack McKowen on April 20, 2016 and a brother in law Glen Visser.

A memorial has been established in Donna’s name and may be sent to Murdock Funeral home. On line
