Mrs. Margaret Leila Dodds, 62, resident of Casper since 1916, died Tuesday evening at Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Jan. 10, 1898 in Madison County, Iowa, Mrs. Dodds moved as a small child with her family to Kansas. In 1909 they came to Wyoming, settling in Chugwater where they lived for the next few years.
Married Aug. 5, 1916 to Paul Dodds, Mrs. Dodds had made her home here since that time. The family home is at 936 South Chestnut.
Mrs. Dodds was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Inez Farlee of Casper; two granddaughters, Mrs. Harold Niles and Miss Janice Farlee, both of Casper; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Leo Redburn and Mrs. Ina Sims, both of Casper, Mrs. Fern Cloonan of Agate, Colo., and Mrs. Hallie Olsen of Cheyenne; and five brothers, Art and Fred Dowler, both of Casper, Walter of Cheyenne, Hugh of Spencer Neb. and Lloyd of Fresno, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. from the Bustard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Ball of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
