MRS. LEONA HENNING

Mrs. Leona M. Henning, 64, of 2515 8th Ave., Rock Island, died at 9:55 last night at Lutheran Hospital where she had been a patient for the last 10 weeks.

Services will be at 10 Wednesday morning in the Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Following the services the body will be taken to the Toland Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa, where visitation will be at the Newton Cemetery Thursday afternoon.

Friends may call at the Knox-Larson Funeral Home after 7 this evening.

Mrs. Henning was born April 23, 1901, on a farm near Winterset, Iowa. She lived in the Winterset area until her marriage to Edward H. Henning on March 22, 1921, in Newton. The couple lived in Newton 17 years before coming to Rock Island in 1937.

Surviving are the widower; two sons, Leo E. Henning and Clifford W. Henning, both of Rock Island; two sisters, Mrs. Ross Henderson of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Alma Tratchel of Newton; a twin brother, Lee Porter of Winterset and another brother, Edson Porter of Missouri; five grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
