ROSARY TONIGHT FOR MRS. STELLA WALSH

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Hollywood, for Mrs. Stella Walsh, 18, mother of the former head coach of the Los Angeles Rams football team.

Mrs. Walsh, who lived at 1276 N. Hayworth Ave., died Friday night in Santa Monica while dining with one of her daughters and several grandchildren.

She was the mother of Adam Walsh, former All-American center at Notre Dame and captain of the famed Four Horsemen team of 1924, and Charles (Chile) Walsh, former general manager of the Rams. Adam Walsh was recently appointed U.S. Marshal in Maine by President Kennedy. He was head coach of the Rams in 1945 and 1946.

She leaves a third son, Paul Walsh of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Theodore Smith, Mrs. Leo Nolte, and Mrs. Maxfield E. Brown, all of Los Angeles; 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the St. Ambrose Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
