Last Rites Held For Ora R. McGlothen (sic)

Funeral services were held at Lillie’s funeral home in Des Moines Monday, Oct. 6, for Ora R. McGlothen, former resident of Madison county.

McGlothen died Friday, Oct. 3, at the Veterans’ hospital following a lingering illness. He was 55 years of age. He was born near Macksburg in 1886, the son of the late George and Emma McGlothen. He served in active duty in France during the World war.

He is survived by numerous relatives and friends in this community.
