Services for Orren Taylor, 88, of 4140 Grand ave., who died Tuesday at Broadlawns General Hospital of complications resulting from a broken hip, will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the McLaren Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jordan Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines 48 years. He was a painter until his retirement seven years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Bruce, George and William, all of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Smith of West Des Moines; two brothers, Roy of Earlham and Ben of Adel, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
