MRS. EVELYN DUFFY

Services for Mrs. Evelyn A. Duffy, 89, of Cumming who died of a stroke Saturday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cumming Community Church with burial at the Booneville Cemetery.

Born at Rowland Ohio, she had been a resident of the Cumming area 70 years. She was a member of the Cumming Community Church.

Survivors include four sons, Charles and Harold B., both of Des Moines, Russell R. of Meriden, Calif., and Robert L. of Hastings, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Kelly of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

McLarens Funeral Home in West Des Moines is in charge of services.

Transcriber's note: Maiden name taken from son Charles' marriage record. The Duffys were Lee Township, Madison County residents in the early 1900s per birth records for several of their children.
