Page 33, Column 1Ada Francis Gibbs, 87, of Ames died of pneumonia Wednesday at Grand Avenue Care Center, where she was a resident. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stevens Memorial Chapel, and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Lorimor Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibbs was born in Madison County and moved to Ames in 1975 after living in Des Moines and Winterset. She retired as a file clerk for Preferred Risk Insurance Co. and was a member of First Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors, both of Lorimor.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Eilts of Ames; two sisters, Anna Kramer and Rowena Hammand, both of Creston; a brother Claude Lewis of Fort Myers, Fla.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Ames First United Methodist Church.
