GLASGOW, Feb. 1. — Funeral services for Mrs. Adrain C. Vertz were held from the Baptist church here Monday, the Rev. O. D. Martin officiating. Interment was made in Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Vertz was 45 years old and lived with her family in Riverside community about eight miles west of Glasgow. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Melvin Hammerness, Mrs. Ralph Stinson and Dorothy, and four sons, Iver, Adrain, Edwin and Donald. She is also survived by four brothers, Elmer Phipps, Adrain, Mo.; Charles, Decater City, Ia.; James, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Iver, Newburg, Ore.
The Vertz family came to Valley county in 1913, from Underwood, N. D.
