Services for Kenneth Thomson, 75, Superior were 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 1988 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel, Estherville. Dr. S. Philip Convert, Untied Methodist Church, Spirit Lake, officiated.
Mr. Thomson died Friday, Dec. 9 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 19, 1913 in Gordon, Neb. to William and Pearl (Rash) Thomson. He moved with his parents at an early age to Winterset where he received his education. He moved to the Superior area in 1934.
He married Charlotte Zerfoss Dec. 29, 1939 at Estherville. The couple farmed in the Superior area and moved into Superior in 1974. Mr Thomson retired in 1977.
He was a member of the Superior Untied Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte, Superior; four daughters, Janet Baker, Homestead, Fla., Mrs Robert (Dorothy) Worthington, Bloomington, Minn., Mrs. James (Ruth) Petersen, Spirit Lake and Mrs. Larry (Mary) Wee, Omaha, Neb.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Hugh Thomson and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Roby, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Marjorie Wilson; Branson, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Burial was in the Superior Township Cemetery with Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, in charge of arrangements.
