Services were in the First Baptist church in Anadarko Sunday for Wm. E. Beall, 81, well known Caddo county resident since 1901. Burial was in the Apache cemetery.
Beall, a brother of C.A,. Beall and O.T. Beall of this place, died suddenly Thursday in a hospital in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He had been visiting his son, Frank Beall, in Carlsbad about three weeks.
Born in Winterset, Iowa, Aug. 5, 1867, Beall first located near Apache when he came to the newly opened part of Oklahoma in 1901. Except for a few years' stay in New Mexico, he had made Caddo county his home, living at Washita many years before moving to Anadarko about two years ago.
Survivors, besides his brothers, are his daughter, Mrs. Lillian Burkhead, Apache; and four sons, Edward Beall, Oklahoma City; Fred Beall, Washita; Clyde Beall, Anadarko, and Frank Beall, Carlsbad.
C.A. Beall and his granddaughter, Mrs. Robt. Davis, attended the services in Anadarko and Apache Sunday.
