Elderly Resident of South Part of County Suffered Stroke Two Weeks Ago
Moulton—L. F. Landers, 76, resident of Moulton vicinity for the past 10 years, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at his home. He had suffered a stroke some two weeks previously.
In death Mr. Landers leaves a widow by his second marriage and two children, Earl of Marshalltown and Mrs. Urcel Bogle, of Moulton. There are 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held Tuesday at 2 o’clock from the Eagle Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Stufflebeam, of Drakesville, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery at Moulton.
Mr. Landers had been retired in recent years. His passing brings sorrow to a wide circle of friends and relatives.

Page 2, Column 5Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bogle of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Fountain McCullough and two children of Cedar Rapids, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bogle of Ottumwa, have been called here by the death of L. F. Landers. A brother, Mandel Landers, of Winterset, is expected here for the funeral.
