MISSION—The funeral service for C.R. (Roseman) Mitchell, who died Friday at a Corpus Christi Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Virgil Wilson & Sons Chapel in Mission, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Charles McCullough of First United Methodist Church of Mission will officiate. Visitation will be held until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born in Earlham, Iowa, Mr. Mitchell, 82, had lived in Mission since 1917. He graduated from Mission High School and attended Southern Methodist University. In 1933, He married Anna Marie Wycoff, who preceded him in death in 1987. He was retired from Rado Refining Company.

He is survive by two sons, Bill (and Gladys) of Corpus Christi and Charles (and Harriet) of Euless, Texas; and six grandchildren.
