John W. Pinckney a former resident of this place died at his home near Ames, Nebr., on Tuesday morning, April 29 and was buried at North Bend, on Friday afternoon.

FREMONT. — John Pinckney, prominent farmer of the North Bend vicinity, died at Ames while being rushed to the Fremont hospital for treatment. Mr. Pinckney was 68 years of age and is survived by his wife and several children. In the years of populism Mr. Pinckney was an ardent advocate of the principles of that party and was a leader in his section.
