Vilna Kennedy

Vilna L Kennedy, daughter of Harold E.Tuttle and Orpha M (Daniel) Tuttle was born June 6, 1924 in Saint Charles, Iowa and passed from this life Monday, April 30, 2018 at Taylor House Hospice at 93 years of age.

Vilna grew up in St, Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School. She then attended one year at Iowa State where she received her teaching certificate and one summer at Simpson College. She was united in marriage to Donald Lorraine Kennedy on August 21, 1943 at St. Charles, IA, ten children blessed this union.

Vilna has lived in St. Charles, Truro, and Weldon and moved to New Virginia in 1980, where she has lived since 1980.

Those relatives who preceded Vilna in death were her parents; husband, Donald Lorraine Kennedy; daughter, Donna Denly; great-grandchildren, JD Mar and Damien Kennedy (in infancy); brothers, Alden Tuttle, Lyle Tuttle, Wendell Tuttle; sister, Barbara Tuttle (in infancy); sisters-in-law, Virgie Tuttle Carpenter, Leota Tuttle; honorary brother-in-law, Orval Carpenter.
