CLYDE BEEM

EDCOUCH—Clyde Beem, 54, chief operator for the Central Power & Light Co., in the Valley, died suddenly here Thursday of a heart attack.

Survivors include a son, Ellis Beem of Burbank, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Millican Killebrew of Laredo, Tex.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Martin-Nelson Funeral home of McAllen.

Final Rites Held For Clyde Beem

EDCHOUCH, Jan. 9 – Funeral services were held Saturday for Clyde Beem, 53, Edcouch, who succumbed to a heart attack Thursday night. He had been chief operator for Central Power and Light Company here for the past two years, and prior to that time had been employed by the company at other points. He was a pioneer resident of this community.

Services under the direction of Martin Nelson Funeral Home, were conducted by the Rev. P. S. Connell, pastor of the Edcouch Methodist church with the special music being furnished by members of the choir of the church.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. William Killebrew of Laredo; a son, Ellis C. Beem of Burbank, Calif.; five grandchildren; and other relatives.

Pallbearers were John Trousdale of Harlingen; J. W. Murse, W. C. Moore, W. K. Galbreath, Jr., all of Edcouch; and William H. Hughes of Elsa.

Interment was in Weslaco cemetery.
