Services Monday for J. L. Wheaton

Services for J. L. (Brownie) Wheaton, 73, of 2110 Thirty-ninth st., will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Wheaton died Friday at Iowa Methodist Hospital of a heart ailment. He was ill one week.

He was born in Winterset, and lived in Des Moines for 41 years. He was a plasterer, retiring in 1958, and was a member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Local No. 21.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel; and two sisters; Mrs. Virgil Blackburn of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Esther Otis of Long Beach, Calif. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Open Bible Building Fund.
