Page 3, Column 1Lola Songer, Panora, daughter of John and Pearl Hatfield Olson, was born January 1, 1920 in Sully County, Nebraska. She passed away June 19, 2001 at the Guthrie County Hospital, Guthrie Center.
She attended schools in Panora. She married Clifford Kuster in 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska and to this union 6 children were born. They lived mostly in Adair and Guthrie counties. She was a homemaker most of her life. In 1966, she married Harold Songer and they lived in Madison County. She moved back to Panora in 1982 from Stuart.
Survivors include her daughters Sally Sheeder, Panora, Pearl Harris, Orient and Gerry Mae, Caddott, WI; sons Clifford Kuster, Oakdale, MN, Larry Kuster, Leon and Gerald Kuster, Stuart; 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and brothers George Olson, Panora, Ernest Raymond Olson, Tucson, AZ, Charles (Ed) Olson, Guthrie Center and Jerry Olson, Hacienda Heights, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Clifford; second husband Harold; grandson Joshua Byerly; infant twins; sister Myrtle Hatfield; brothers John and Paul (Olli) and half-brother Don (Hattie) Hatfield.
Services were Saturday, June 23, 2001 at Beidelman Funeral Home, Panora. Burial was in the Jefferson Center Cemetery, Menlo.
