Thursday Services For Mrs. Reynolds

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20, at 1 p.m. from the Webster Funeral Home for Margaret Augusta Reynolds, 90, who died at the Osceola Leisure Manor Monday, April 17.

Rev. John Dale will officiate at the services with burial to be in the New Virginia cemetery, New Virginia, Iowa.

Margaret Augusta Reynolds was born August 9, 1876, in Cedar county, Iowa, daughter of Francis D. Smith and Sarah Elizabeth Fullwider Smith. She was educated in the Madison county schools and was married to John W. Reynolds in Indianola, Iowa, on March 11, 1897. Ten children were born to this union. Mrs. Reynolds lived in Clarke county the past 27 years and was affiliated with the Methodist church.

She is survived by five daughters, Alta DeWitt of Wichita, Kansas; Leta Armstrong of St. Charles, Iowa; Vaniece Ford of Osceola; Faye Wilson of New Virginia; Eva Garris of Osceola; three sons, Elbert of New Virginia; Harry of New Virginia and Fayne of Osceola; 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her father, mother, husband, daughter, Pearl, and a daughter in infancy; a grandson, two brothers and a sister.
