Funeral services were conducted from Webster-Kale Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon for Wuanita Doris Christensen, 77, who died last Wednesday at Osceola Leisure Manor.
Mrs. Christensen was born in Madison County on January 3, 1904, the daughter of Samuel and Caroline Ridout.
She received her education in the Madison County school system and at Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls.
Married on January 27, 1923 at Winterset to Chris Christensen this union brought forth six children.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Carroll of Des Moines, Wilbur of Fontanelle, Clair of Berwick, and Ivan of Adel, one daughter, Helen McKnight of Osceola, two brothers, Lloyd and Wayne Ridout, four sisters, Lorna, Laura, Zaida and Helen, 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Rev. George Neal, with burial in Liberty Cemetery, Liberty.
