Ann Jeter, 75, formerly of Bon-Aire Mobile Home Lodge, died Saturday evening at the Solon Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home, where friends may call.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Solon Care Center.
Mrs. Jeter was born Jan. 17, 1905, in Madison County, a daughter of Verden and Ceilia Cole Creger. She married Truman Jeter, Dec. 24, 1922, in Afton.
The couple moved to Iowa City in 1946, where they owned and operated Plamor Lanes bowling alley until 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of Iowa City and Donald of Malakoff, Texas; a daughter, Evelyn Disterhoft of Geneseo, Ill.; a brother, Arthur of Marshalltown; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband died in 1979. A brother also died earlier.
