Harvey Low, son of Ephrium and Eunice Hatch Low, was born in Madison county, Winterset, Iowa on March 30, 1895, and departed this life on August 29, 1968 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola, Iowa.

He was united in marriage to Nora Mae Switzer on April 2, 1916 at Murray, Iowa by Reverend Killion. Born to this union was a son, Clifford A. Low born in Clarke county, Osceola, Iowa. Also a daughter, Leona Emmeretta Low born in Madison county, Winterset, Iowa. She died at the age of 17 months.

He is survived by his wife, Nora, son Clifford A. Low and wife Betty; granddaughters, Terrie Low and Judy Mason; great grandsons, Monte, Mark, and Mel Mason. His living sisters are Mrs. Julia Platt of Winterset, Iowa and Mrs. Josephine Alcorn of Redtop, Missouri. The living brothers are Bill Low of Des Moines, Iowa and Henry Low of Winterset, Iowa. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 1, 1968 at Websters Funeral Home. He was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola, Iowa.
