Henry Klein, a respected citizen of our city, passed away Tuesday after a severe illness of only a few days duration. Mr. Klein had not been feeling well for some time, but only a few days before his death was his serious condition realized. About a week ago he took with vomiting spells and afterwards was unable to retain nourishment. His condition grew worse each day and Tuesday afternoon he closed his eyes to all things earthly.

The deceased moved to Murray in the fall of 1893, coming to Murray from his farm in Walnut township, Madison county. He was about 70 years of age. In the Civil war he was a member of the 1st Vol. Inf.

Funeral services were held from the late home at 10 o’clock Friday morning. Interment made in Union cemetery.---Murray News.
