Nancy J. Perkins, Des Moines. Nancy Jene Perkins, 62, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with a memorial service at 5 p.m. at McLaren's. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery at a later date.

Nancy was born June 22, 1955 in Des Moines to Gene and Marcelyn Hill. She attended Interstate 35 Schools before graduating from Valley High School in 1973. Nancy worked at Principal Financial Group. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Travis (Karen) and Tyler (Jessica); mother, Marcelyn; three grandchildren, Aurora, Briella, and Molly; sister, Pam Vondra; brother, Larry (Penny) Hill; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene and sister, Kerry Embree.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for future designation.
