Mrs. Carrie Guilliams received a telegram last Saturday afternoon that her aunt, Mary Shutt of Cherokee, Oklahoma, had died that day, and the funeral service would be held Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Shutt was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Coltrane, early residents of Madison and warren counties. Her husband was the late Frank Shutt who was an early settler in Jackson township in Warren county and in the ‘80’s went to Kansas and later to Oklahoma.
