Was born in Blackford county Indiana, May 31st, 1844. Died October 23, 1906, at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 22 days, after an illness of three months duration. He bore his suffering with christian fortitude no word of complaint ever coming from his lips.
At the age of 13 he united with the M. E. church and his life was one full of usefulness in the work of his Master.
