The Rev. Clifford Haider officiated at funeral services at the United Methodist Church in Osceola Wednesday morning for Beulah Viola McComas, 91, of Osceola.
Mrs. McComas, a retired teacher, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1990, at the Clarke County Hospital, Osceola.
Kale Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
The daughter of Eugene Howe and Imogene Ellis Howe, she was born Jan. 21, 1899, in Madison County.
She attended school in Warren County and the University of Iowa. She married Floyd W. McComas June 5, 1923 in Indianola. They were the parents of two sons.
Mrs. McComas was a member of Ophir Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star at Osceola, and Chapter K, PEO.
She is survived by a son, Edwin L. and his wife, Beth of Albuquerque, New Mex., a son Kenneth, and his wife, Janice, of Osceola, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, and two grandchildren.
