Page 5, Column 6-7Donna Marie Howe, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo P. Howe of Osceola, Iowa, was born January 9, 1937, and departed this life May 20, 1937, at the age of 4 months and 11 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, four sisters and two brothers, Pauline, Helen, Geraldine, Marilyn Jean, Loren and Marvin, all at home. Also her grandmother Hadley of Indianola and her grandfather Howe of Osceola, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2, at 2:00 p. m. at the Methodist Protestant church, conducted by the pastor Rev. David E. Arnold. Miss Mildred Hart and Miss Iva Marquis sang, “Safe in the Arms of Jesus,” “When He Cometh to Make Up His Jewels,” and “Two Little Hands.” Interment was made at Peru cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ferndelene Scott, Fern Powers, Shirley Arnold and Mary Snell.
