Page 5, Column 5Cora D. Roberts was born in Madison county, Iowa, near St. Charles, November 17, 1873. She united with the M.E. church in early life and was a conscientious Christian woman till death called her home. She was married to E. L. Slinker June 24, 1896; to this union were born seven children three of whom died in infancy.
There remain to mourn her loss, a husband, E. L. Slinker, four children, Carol, 17; Paul, 14; Eunice, 8 and Maurice, 5; a mother, Mrs. Mollie Roberts; one brother, Harry Roberts, of St. Charles; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Lytle, of Truro. Cora departed this life March 14, 1920, from a stroke of paralysis, following the flu.
