Page 6, Column 5Thomas Jefferson Brewer, son of Ben and Olive Choate Brewer, was born in rural Madison County, Iowa on August 5, 1903, and passed away at the Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, Iowa on February 8, 1986 at the age of 82.
He lived about all of his life in Stuart and was in the trucking business until his retirement. He had been a resident at the Greenfield Manor for the past four years.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Ruth Brewer Howard.
Survivors include a number of cousins and friends.
Tom was a member of the Christian church joining as a young boy.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 11, 1986 at the South Oak Grove Cemetery, Stuart, Iowa, with Rev. George Thurman officiating.
