Mr. Imes, father of Mrs. Clark Hunter, passed away at the Hunter home on Friday morning. Mr. Imes had been very poorly for the past several months.

Page 1, Column 5Warren Imes, son of John and Rebecca Imes, was born in Greene Co., Pa., Oct. 28, 1849.
At the age of 16 years he moved with his parents to Illinois, and five years later moved to Madison County, Iowa.
He was married to Juam Bridges, January 1, 1877. They resided in Madison and Adair counties until 1899, when they moved to Stuart. Here he resided until August 6, 1933, when he was stricken with paralysis and was brought to the home of Clark Hunter, where he was cared for until he passed away Nov. 17, 1933, at the age of 84 years and 20 days.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Clark Hunter, and two granddaughters, Mrs. Fred Lenocker and Ava Hunter, and two sisters, Mrs. Callie Drury and Mrs. Alice Esbeck of Audubon, Iowa. His wife preceded him in death September 29, 1918.
His friends were numbered by his acquaintances who loved him for the true Christian life he lived.
The funeral was held from the home of the daughter, Mrs. Clark Hunter, the Rev. Fred B. Moore officiating. Burial was in the family plot at the Fairview church, south of DeSoto, Iowa.
