County Briefs-North Branch

S. W. Henke received a message Friday morning telling of the death of his youngest brother George at Gunnison, Colorado. He had been ill for twelve days with pneumonia. George will be remembered by many of the older residents of Madison and Jefferson townships where he lived as a young man going to Colorado thirty-three years ago and locating in Gunnison where he had been in the Café business for some years. The remains were taken to Paonia, Colorado, to the home of his brother Burt. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon after which the remains were laid away in the little cemetery near Paonia among the mountains he loved so well.
