Irwin Paullin Rites at Adel

Services for Irwin Paullin were held Monday in the Fisher Funeral Home at Adel with interment in the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Paullin, 69, who was born in Madison County, suffered a fatal heart attack January 6 while removing snow with a tractor. Mr. and Mrs. Paullin had been in the trucking business for approximately 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, three brothers, Walter of Waukee, Clarence of West Des Moines and Ward of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Witkowski of Des Moines and Mrs. Fred Morford, Sr. of Dexter.

Rites for Irwin H. Paullin were held at the Fisher Funeral Home, in Adel, Monday, January 11, at 2 p.m.

Mr. Paullin of Waukee, a widely known truck operator, suffered a fatal heart attack on January 6, while on a tractor moving snow. He and his wife, Nancy, had been in the trucking business for more than 45 years. He was born in Madison County on January 4, 1902.

Rev. Richard Quinlan was in charge of the service. Mrs. Neale Caudron was organist. Casket bearers were Wayne Moon, Jack Bean, James Kennedy, William Leech, Ronnie Paullin and James Paullin. Burial was at the Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Paullin is survived by his wife Nancy; three brothers William, of DeSoto, Walter, of Waukee and Clarence of West Des Moines. Also two sisters, Myrtle Witkowski, of Des Moines and Mrs. Fred (Eva) Morford, of Dexter.
