Betty Johnson, 84, of Creston, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Greater Regional Hospice House. There will be no public services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the family.
Betty Johnson daughter of Maude Lorena (Clark) and Frank Benjamin Davis, was born July 4, 1933 in Madison County, Ia. Betty graduated from Zion High School in 1951. Betty worked as a waitress and bar tender for 40 years in Creston including, the Chicken Inn, Kelly's, Alibi, the Elms Club for 24 years and the Eagles Club for 9 years until her retirement in 1996.
Betty is survived by a sister Irene Ludwig; a brother, Earl (wife Janet) Davis, Indianola; two nieces Barbie Ruchti of Orient and Jodi and family of Indianola; a nephew Chris Ludwig of Creston and many great-nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Ethel Scott.
