Laid to Rest

Murray News—Virginia May Bell, born January 27, 1871, died March 25, 1908 aged 37 years, 1 mo, 27 days.

Friends of the late Mrs. Klein, who died in her Denver home March 25th, filled the local Methodist church Sunday at the funeral services over their departed friend, the large gathering telling with more emphasis than words can portray, of the high respect in which Murray friends held the deceased.

For some time Mrs. Klein had been in failing health and of late the gravest fears for her recovery were entertained which only deepened as days passed by and finally the crucial hour came and surrounded by the loving husband and little children, her spirit was conveyed on angel wings to the Giver. Mrs. Klein was born and raised in this community and all older residents in this community knew and loved her.

October 26, 1894, she was united in marriage to Mr. Chas. Klein, a highly respected Clarke county young man. After a few years residence in Clarke county, they moved to Colorado on account of the health of Mrs. Klein, in which state they made their permanent home. To this union four children were born, two boys and two girls. One son died in infancy.

Mrs. Klein was converted and united with the M. P. church in the winter 1892 under Rev/ Tillotson while in revival services at “Frame” church in Ward Township and has since lived an ardent Christian woman, and from the community from which she has gone out comes the praises of her Christian character and influence and loyal support of the church.
