Obituary

On Monday, August 22, the pale ferryman with his snowy sails spread, came to the home of T. J. and Selba Campbell, and carried away their youngest child Nellie, who was one year, eight months and sixteen days old. Nellie was sunshine in the home, and it was hard to see her taken away from us, but did not the Heavenly Father to love her so dearly that he took her to himself in her pure sweet innocence, before she could ever know of sin and sorrow? And now that Nellie is gone we can only hope to meet her again.

Yet again we hope to meet thee,

When they day of life is fled;
And in heaven with joy to greet thee,

Where no farewell tears are shed.
