Survivors include a son, Carl of Sioux City, a daughter, Mrs. George Phelps of Kingsley and one grandson. Ed Cain of Winterset, is a nephew.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 o’clock, Monday afternoon at the First Christian church, the Rev. G. D. Serrill officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joseph Steele, Jr., and interment was in the Graceland park cemetery.

Mrs. Cain spent two weeks in Winterset, and in Macksburg last fall. For the past thirteen years, she had taught mathematics at West junior school, retiring in June 1935.
