Thursday, March 5, 1959Rev. D. E. Welty conducted graveside services March 2, 1959 for Rosa Lee Coleman of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the wife of the Rev. J. B. Coleman who was pastor of the Presbyterian church here in 1935. Those present for the services were her daughters, Mrs. Mable Kendrick, Mrs. Jewell Ganser, and Emil and Helen Grove, all of Indianapolis.
The ladies Sunday School class of the Presbyterian church prepared dinner Monday at the Grazella McKibben home for the relatives attending the funeral of Mrs. Coleman of Indianapolis, who was buried here in Earlham.
Mrs. Coleman’s husband served the Presbyterian church at Earlham as minister several years ago. Mr. Coleman is also buried in Earlham. Among the relatives attending the dinner were the Coleman’s three daughters and a son-in-law. Graveside services were held with Rev. Welty in charge.
