Rebecca Ann Hartsaugh was born in Pennsylvania April 2, 1841, and died March 5, 1917.
She moved with her parents in her young girlhood to Columbiana Co. O. where she was united in marriage to Benj. F. Galloupe September 24, 1866. To this union was born seven children: Walter E. of Unionville, Mo.; Mary B. of Seymour, Iowa; Margaret E. of Sapulpa, Okla; Nellie of Unionville, Mo.; Benj. of Flemington, Mo.; May, of Seymour, Iowa; and Fred, of Kansas City, Mo. Her husband departed this life Dec. 21, 1916.
She united with the U. B. church some thirty years ago and lived a consistent Christian life, always ready to sacrifice for her loved ones and help anyone who needed help in any way. She was a loving and devoted mother, a kind neighbor and always cheerful and appreciative of everything that was done for her. She will be greatly missed by all, but our loss is her gain.
